Visiting Every HBCU in America
GOOD MORNING AMERICA
A New Jersey woman is on a mission to bring the HBCU experience to students who might not know about or realize the many historically Black colleges and universities serving students today.
THE GRIO
Eleise Richards realized how ill-informed she was about HBCUs in general, prompting her goal to learn as much as she could while encouraging students to enroll in the institutions.
HBCU BUZZ
Meet The Woman Who Visited Over 90 HBCU Campuses!
It’s giving HARD LAUNCH!! Eleise Richards is exhibiting HBCU pride to the fullest and we love to see it! The New Jersey native says the trip was because of the students she connected with through her Nonprofit organization, Experience The Legacy.
THE SHADEROOM
#TSRHBCUuuuuKnow: We know that HBCU pride is like NO other, and while many of us have visited a campus or two, one #HowardUniversity grad made her bucket list goal a reality by visiting over 90 of the 101 HBCU campuses.
We reached out to the Irvington, New Jersey, native about her journey and the reason behind the visits. The class of 2010 HU grad exclusively tells us this trip was because of the students she connected with through her Nonprofit organization, Experience The Legacy.
